Marriage Restored After Divorce Papers

My husband and I were headed for divorce after 15 years of marriage. We had already filed the papers and were just waiting for the court date. We barely spoke to each other, and when we did, it always ended in arguments.

A colleague at work told me about the marriage restoration retreat at Praying House. I was skeptical, but something inside me said to give it one last try. Convincing my husband to come was even harder, but he finally agreed.

Today, our marriage is stronger than ever. We withdrew the divorce papers and renewed our vows on our 16th anniversary. We're now mentoring other couples at the church. God is the ultimate marriage counselor!
